Biography

Nils Carsten Weber

Thanks to the support of his parents, Nils Carsten Weber has been dancing since childhood. After a successful competitive ballroom dance career, he trained as a dance teacher and, in 1993, fulfilled a long-held dream by opening his own dance school in Frankfurt-Höchst.

Driven by curiosity and a deep love for everything that connects people through music, he soon discovered the world of social dances. Since then, he has danced and taught Blues, Lindy Hop, Salsa, and Argentine Tango with great passion.

With his dance school and the “Ballhaus Höchst,” he has created a particularly beautiful place and a true home for the regional dance scene. Today, he travels extensively and enjoys music and dance wherever and whenever possible.

Cora Stein

From the very first moment she encountered swing dancing many years ago, Cora fell head over heels in love — not just with one style, but with the entire rich and joyful world of swing. When Blues dancing entered her life, a whole new universe opened up, adding depth, intimacy, and a special kind of magic that has stayed close to her heart ever since.

Cora feels at home on dance floors across Europe, where she can often be found dancing until the early morning hours and sharing her musical passion from behind the DJ booth. Based in Frankfurt, Germany, she is deeply rooted in her local dance community, where she pours her love for dance into organizing parties and festivals, teaching regular classes, and leading workshops.

At this festival, Cora will be teaching and DJing, bringing music that reflects her deep connection to swing and blues — groovy, jazzy, soulful, and full of emotion — always with the goal of filling the dance floor and creating a warm, inspiring space where everyone can share the joy of dancing together.
