GENERAL TERMS
These are the general terms and conditions for the attendees of the Swingin The Bay Festival 2024. If you do not agree with those during registration you will not be able to attend the festival.
REGISTRATION/PAYMENT TERMS
Upon submitting the registration form, you will receive in total 3 emails:
- The confirmation of your registration.
- The payment details.
- The payment confirmation which secures your spot.
After having received the email with the payment details the fee must be paid within 7 days. If you register with a partner, the payment for both participants are required to secure your spots. If you register as a couple you will receive one bill for both festival passes.
Payments have to be made in Euro. We only accept bank transfers – neither credit cards, Paypal nor any other payment methods. Transfer fees must be paid by the participants.
If we do not receive your payment latest 7 days after the email with the payment details, your registration may be canceled and your spot offered to other dancers.
COVID-19
It is the responsibility of each participant to make sure that they meet the requirements to travel to Greece and to attend the event.
Because of regulations in regards to COVID-19, it may be necessary to change details of the event at a very short notice. We will do our best to provide an experience according to the one you have signed up for.
REFUND POLICY
If Swingin the Bay has to be canceled because of local or national covid regulations, your payment will be fully refunded. We are sorry we can not offer a refund of the tickets for any other reason.
You are also free to find a replacement for yourself. It must be same role same, level though. Please inform us asap, if you want your ticket transferred to another dancer.
CHANGES
Swingin The bay is an outdoor event. Weather and other circumstances can affect many planned activities. The organising Team reserves the right to change the time or location of the classes, and will communicate any change on the website and/or our Facebook Page.
Our goal is to bring the teachers and bands for which you have signed up. However, for various reasons (flights may be delayed or canceled, train companies may go on strike, artists can get ill or injured… ) individual artists may not be able to participate at Swingin The Bay festival. If necessary, we will adjust the lineup and the schedule and you may get to learn from other excellent teachers or dance to other exceptional bands.
FILMING AND PHOTOGRAPHY
There will be taken photographs and audiovisual content of this event that may be published or broadcasted in any media or support, including our official websites and on Facebook, YouTube, Vimeo, Instagram and others, for promotional or internal purposes, but in any case without commercial purpose. By participating in the festival, you expressly consent that you may be filmed or photographed as part of the attending public. We are not responsible for photographs or recordings made by third parties.
PRIVACY
The personal information you provide will not be disclosed, in any situation, to a third party. Direct contact will be primarily e-mail-based, as we give you relevant information regarding the event and follow up with your registration. The Team cannot be held responsible for the integrity and privacy of e-mail messages as they are relayed by e-mail servers across the Internet.
LIABILITY DISCLAIMER
Dancing is a physical activity in which you participate at your own risk. The Team declines all responsibility for any claim, injury, loss or damage which may occur during the festival. Participants of Swingin The Bay Festival are responsible for their own insurance. They are not insured by the organizer which disclaims all liability.
CODE OF CONDUCT
By agreeing to this document the attendee is bound to behave in accordance with the general rules of conduct and with the existing Greek laws all while respecting the house rules and of course dancing courtesy.
AGREEMENT TO GENERAL CONDITIONS
By registering at the Swingin The Bay Festival, you understand and accept these conditions without exception.
