Peter Loggins is the foremost researcher on American Jazz Dance. Credited during the 1990’s for bringing back many of the dances that he learned from the original dancers of the 1920’s, 30’s and 40’s.

Katja Završnik started dancing at the age of 5 and through the years studied various forms of dance such as Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Ballroom, Gymnastics and Acrobatic Rock and Roll for 9 years.

Vincenzo Fesi is a worldwide recognised dancer, teacher and choreographer. Cape Town, Melbourne, Paris, Stockholm, Seoul, London… Vincenzo is a real globetrotter, he teaches and performs at the most prestigious swing dance events all around the world and has a dazzling reputation on the international swing dance scene.

Moe is born and raised in Osaka, Japan, Moe Sakan has had professional training in many types of dance from an early age.In 1999 Moe fell in love with the world of Swing dance, since then this has been her dance of choice.

Sharon Davis lives in London and has taught and performed Lindy Hop, Charleston, Jazz and Burlesque around the world since 2006.

Ben White has been addicted to all things swing since 2004. He has studied Lindy Hop, Balboa, Tap, and Solo Jazz dance under masters from the original swing era

Fabien and Lisa met in Herrang, Sweden in 2010 and have been teaching and dancing together ever since. Coming from different backgrounds they both bring their own particular expertise, talents, and enthusiasm to the partnership.

Fabien comes from France and has been teaching swing dancing since 2004, specializing in lindy hop and blues. His love of choreography has led to him to choreograph a number of successful showcases performed at ILHC and other events, as well as the recent ‘French Connection’ Team that placed 2nd at ILHC and ESDC.

Veli and Dani were one of the first dance couples in Sofia, Bulgaria when Swing culture took over the country in 2009-2010.

In addition to dancing together since the beginning, in 2013 they founded their own dance school – Swingin Monkeys. It is among the leading schools in the country and they are constantly adding new swing dance styles.

Jean-Charles aka JoYsS is an actor, who shares a huge love story with dance. He is well known for his multi-artistic experience.

He originally comes from the Hip-hop Culture, where the mission of every dancer is to raise your own style and respect all inspirations without taking off any nature of it.

As a Dancer from Ghent Michael had a unique style and energy. In 2017 suffered from an accident that left him in a wheelchair. That didn’t stop him from being active in the Lindy Hop scene! Michael still dances with his team The Cherry Dots and also he became an inspiration in the Burlesque scene performing with Zoe Bizoe.

Zoe Bizoe, the first international burlesque artist to win every competition she ever competed!

With her 7(!!) international titles she is living proof that a combination of humor & sillyness combined with your own uniqueness in an incredible outfit is THE key to making a spectacle everyone remembers. Burlesque as the ultimate celebration of life. And we know laughter is life.

From an early age he loved to sing and dance in front of others. For a few years he was involved in traditional dances, taking part in children’s performances while exploring his passion for hip hop and break-dance.

Then as a teenager he took Latin classes such as Salsa, Cha Cha and Rumba and for a short time he started Tango classes. During the same period he was introduced to Swing and Blues, which he dedicated himself to for the following years, with intensive classes, social evenings, international festivals as well as international competitions.

Ronja, with a background in salsa and folk dance, fell head over heels for the swinging energy of Lindy Hop in 2012. She loves the creativity and musicality that the dance offers, where the follower is given plenty of space to shape the dance. Charleston and old-school ragtime piano are guaranteed to get her on the dance floor – always with a big smile.

Bram discovered his love for jazz music and Lindy Hop after a versatile journey through breakdance, contemporary dance, improvisational and physical theatre. With an eye for detail and a passion for visual storytelling, he brings dynamism to both social dancing and choreographies.

Ever since he saw ILHC 2013 competition video, Miloš has been inspired and motivated to start swing dancing. In 2018 he became one of the founders of Swing’n’Roll dance school in Belgrade. Even though he started as a Lindy Hopper, he fell in love with Balboa and became one of the founders of the scene in Belgrade in 2019.

Nevena’s swing dancing journey started on the other side of the world, during a vacation on Réunion island. When she got back home to Serbia, she started taking classes, and ever since she’s constantly being inspired by music and movement, always improvising and having fun.

Nils Carsten Weber thanks to the support of his parents, Nils Carsten Weber has been dancing since childhood. After a successful competitive ballroom dance career, he trained as a dance teacher and, in 1993, fulfilled a long-held dream by opening his own dance school in Frankfurt-Höchst.

Cora Stein from the very first moment she encountered swing dancing many years ago, Cora fell head over heels in love — not just with one style, but with the entire rich and joyful world of swing. When Blues dancing entered her life, a whole new universe opened up, adding depth, intimacy, and a special kind of magic that has stayed close to her heart ever since.

Shag, Charleston Mariangela Salichou

Mariangela is the founder and director of Athens Lindy Hop. She has been dancing Swing since 2004 in London and has brought Lindy Hop for the first time ever in Athens, Greece in 2008.

Along with her partner, Nefeli, she has initiated and built the foundations of the ever growing Athenian Swing dance scene delivering classes, organising social dances and big events.

Lindy Hop & Authentic Jazz Alexandros Velentzas

Alexandros has been teaching Lindy Hop and Authentic Jazz since 2016, both locally and internationally. Since 2018, he has been a member of the dance and teaching team at Rhythm Hoppers, one of the top swing dance schools in Greece. He is also the coordinator and choreographer of the authentic jazz team “The Dukes of Rhythm”.

Stamatis and Liana started dancing Boogie Woogie in 2019.

They have taken part in recognized competitions in Greece and Italy and have distinguished themselves for their dancing skills by winning in 2022 the first place in the IDO competitions in Italy (class B) and in 2023, 2024 the first place in the Greek championship.

In 2024 they took part in the world championship organized by WRRC and were awarded 9th place.
