Vlad Razumov Ignatiadis & Martha Liveri

Lindy Hop

Vlad was introduced to the lindy hop back in 2010 and immediately fell in love with the spirit of the dance and the history behind it. Since then, he has traveled around Greece and Europe dancing in many lindy hop stages and festivals both as a student and an instructor, side by side, different talented partners.

In 2016 he co-founded Swing Academy and later on he co-directed the Thessaloniki Swing festival.

In recent years he moved to the island of Corfu, where he's been enjoying the process of building his off-grid dreamland, practising permaculture, while still teaching swing classes in the city of Corfu and in his hometown Thessaloniki.

Martha is a versatile dancer based in Athens, who started dancing the lindy hop in 2013 and has made a vivid contribution to the greek scene ever since, with her passion and eagerness for new knowledge.

In 2016, she launched Jazz Reactor, a project on vernacular jazz dance, with a focus on musicality and the interaction among co-dancers, that is inherent in the genre's history. The project has travelled to Chios, as well as abroad (Bristol, Izmir) and Martha has been invited as a guest teacher to a couple of Lindy Hop schools in Athens.

She also practices contemporary dance and classical ballet and has been, since 2021, a member of the Intercultural Dance Team of the National Opera of Greece, representing afroamerican jazz dance.
